Program Philosophy
We believe children learn through play. As children use their imaginations and explore using a wide variety of materials and equipment to choose from, we understand children need that experience to build self-esteem as well as self- independence.
Teachers are to oversee the children as they learn through free play, offer a developmentally appropriate curriculum and be there for children as a support system. It is very important for teachers to us developmentally appropriate practices as well as challenging activities for the children.
Classroom lesson plans will be pronounced in response of the children’s interest and needs.
Children are able to discuss topics and receive feedback from their teacher throughout the day as well as develop reasoning skills, and self-independence.
Children learn actively through play; therefore, the importance of play cannot be overemphasized. This is why dramatic play and housekeeping are integral parts of the activity's children can engage in and they include role-playing, wear dress-up clothes, family living in the doll corner, and use of their own imaginations.
Our children need to know that they can accomplish any goal they please as long as they put their mind to it.
The use of small manipulation toys may include tabletop toys, such as puzzles, Lego's, books, etc. Large motor toys may include the jungle gym, swings, balls, exercise time and other outdoor activities. All toys and equipment have been elected for specific growth and development.
To prevent misunderstanding, damage and/or loss, toys brought from home are not permitted.
A monthly curriculum is prepared at least (10) days in advance of the subsequent month. The lead teacher will prepare a schedule of daily activities based on the month’s curriculum.
If changes to the curriculum are necessary, parents will be notified in writing as soon as possible. The monthly curriculum will include children observational notes, planning notes, lesson plans and ongoing assessments to help guide the implementation of the curriculum of each individual child’s goal.
Our facilities provide children with everything they need to prosper. We have brand-new indoor and outdoor gyms, bright reading library, fully equipped performance theatre and art studio.
